Hello Everyone - we made it to Christmas Day! Yay! We made cards, mailed cards, bought presents, wrapped presents and I think everyone is happy - we are all well fed too.
So a very quick share of a card I made with a cute set called Gingerbread Chicks from Stamping Bella. My lovely crafty friend Lisa gave me this for my birthday and I have already made 5 cards with it as it is flexible enough to be used for birthdays and other celebrations.
I forget how well rubber stamps straight away, but in order to keep the images on the same level (you can't see through rubber as well as you can photopolymer!) I drew a line on my piece of water colour card and stamped them above.
I used my new Hahnemuhle card stock and I LOVE it - so nice and thick. I stamped two of the images in archival black ink and then coloured them in with my Polychromos pencils. I love that the images come with an image coloured in and so I tried to match that in my colouring, especially with shadows.
I stamped the sentiment and then die cut the border with a Mama Elephant die. I simply adhered it with foam tape to an A2 (US) card base that I had attached a scrap of Lawn Fawn patterned paper to.
I want to take the opportunity to wish you all an absolutely fabulous Christmas, a thank you for taking the time to visit me on my blog, my YouTube and over on Instagram. I can't thank you enough for helping me to keep going and doing something that keeps me sane when the kids are finally asleep.
A very Merry Christmas to you all!
