Hello! I'm so excited to be part of this blog hop for Jeanin's (Some Bits and Pieces) new and FREE digital stamps, Forest Friends.
If you're on the hop, you should have arrived here from Nina, and if you would like to join the hop from the beginning, head back to Jeanin at the beginning so she can show you her fab and funky new stamps. The list of everyone on the hop is at the bottom of this post, along with a pointer to who to hop to next after me :)
I've only just started to understand fully what you can do with digital stamps. If you're looking for really helpful videos, have a look at Vera Lane Studio on YouTube as these were massively helpful to me!
I took the PNG file of the bunny and separated him out into his own file, along with the carrot and the sentiment. I resized him and the carrot so they would fit on an A2 card base. I took the carrot and shrank it down and copied and pasted it 22 times, repositioning them around the bunny like a heart. I then grouped them together and changed the colour to orange.
I printed the image out onto some Neenah and die cut it with a SSS stitched rectangle die before doing some Copic colouring - 22 tiny carrots is good going!
I then took an A2 card base and adhered some Lawn Fawn Let's Polka in the Dark paper to the front before adding the card panel popped up on fun foam for dimension.

This looks brill, love the colour combination. Congratulations on your first blog hop. Guess I better buy a better printer - thought making cards would save me money!!! Ha ha
Ohhhh, Ruth, a heart out of carrots! How genius!!!
Love your sweet bunny card...
Have a nice weekend!
A2?? Wow... In germany A2 ist huge!! The cards here are A6... a4 is normal copy paper so i first though your card is 4 times a cooy-paper big 😂😂😂😂 But your card is really sweet!!!! The carrot-heart is an awesome idea 😍😍😍😍
Ruth, your card is just fantastic!!! Love the idea of changing the colors for the carrots!!! Absolutely love your design! :) Thank you for your awesome support!
The carrot heart is amazing! I've not had a chance to play around with digi stamps much but it looks like a lot of fun!
Beautiful card, Ruth! Love the carrot heart!
Very cute Bunny-card <3
Gruß und schönes Wochenende,
scrapkat
I really don't use digi stamps as much as I should - Jeanin has produced some great little critters for us to colour. I think your card is lovely Ruth, the carrot heart is just adorable to frame the bunny (who is coloured beautifully). And I love the pop of orange patterned paper - sets the white panel perfectly. Gorgeous!
Congrats on your first blog hop ;) great colouring and card composition, the result is very cute :) xx
Congratulations on this blog hop, well done you deserve it my friend.. I love your work so much as you already know. Aren't these digi stamps simply adorable, so awesomely sweet too. I'm gonna go the site now to take a look..
Have a FAB weekend?
Hugs Missy Pink xx
This is such a cute card! Nice job Ruth!
Fabulous card - love all those carrots - but the bunny is a bit creepy - I think its the missing pupils, or maybe its just me...
How fun is that!? A heart full of carrots 😍 Your card turned out so beautifully! I should visit you over here much more often 😊
