Hello there! I hope you've all had a good weekend? I thought I'd start the week with this cheery moose from Reverse Confetti. I am so glad I popped him into my basket over at Seven Hills Crafts back in October as he's proving a lot of fun.
I took some watercolour card (this is Arches Cold Press) and stamped my images, with some masking of the moose for the trees in archival ink. I then did some wet on wet water colouring with my Gansai Tambi paints. I love the slightly messy look and have been watching a lot of Debby Hughes' videos lately.
Once it had dried, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom - don't you just love that pun?? Now the observant of you will notice there is a mark over the word 'time'. Did I boob and squidge my ink? Nope. Once I'd taken the stamp off my block I noticed an extra piece of photopolymer on it. Thankfully it wasn't actually attached to the word, as I managed to peel it off, but somehow during the printing process, it had rolled on top. I will now check my stamps thoroughly before I use them!
A very simple piece of grey twine was attached at the top and I then adhered it to an A2 card base with foam tape.
I've decided to call him Kristoff, and I do hope he and Sven will get on! I'm also linking this up to The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
Thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a great week :)

He is so cute and I think the texture cardstock works great with the theme! :) xx
Oh my, that moose is adorable! And such a fabulous sentiment to accompany it! So sorry I have not visited more often - swamped with DT assignments at the moment....
tee hee hee - love the sentiment! Your coloring is the perfect choice for those images. Great result.
I remember seeing this on IG and loving it! The loose watercolouring works really well with these images (which of course I now want). The moose is sooooooooo cute! The colours are really soft and that pale blue is gorgeous. I really struggle to keep my layers soft, LOVE this card Ruth, one of my favourites 😍 Xx
