SugarPea Designs August Release - Day 4

Day 4 of the sneak peeks, so the release is almost here! Today's card is super CAS using the Birthday Balloons. I love the stamps as they leave pretty patterns and it gives the balloon great dimension.

This was so simple. Stamp the images in different colours, die cut the images, pop them up with some foam pads, add a sentiment at the bottom, draw lines (there is a stamp, but I wanted mine to be wobbly!) and add a free hand border. Almost one layer!

The release will be available on Friday 24th at 6pm, EST time from the SugarPea Designs website. Don't forget to visit the SugarPea Designs blog every day and comment for a chance to win a daily prize!

Tomorrow is the big day of the release and I'll be back with another card for the final sneak peek!

I love the layout of the card and hand-drawn lines. These lines look like the string not yet tied to a balloon.

The edging looks great. I like the hand drawn look. The balloons are very sweet, too.

Look at you being the best wonky border scribbler in the whole world! I always forget how this simple element adds a huge impact to a design, drawing the eyes right smack to those festive balloons! You are an inspiration, Ruth!! Hugs, Darnell

That’s clever the way it stamps the look of curves! Pretty card and a brilliant stamp set for so many occasions and for pesky masculine cards too!! You did the wonky lines well too, mine would be awful. Lol. Lisa xx

If I drew my own lines, they'd be wobbly for sure! lol BUT I love the look. Awesome CAS card.
