Magazine Makes #5 - Quick and Simple Christmas Cards - VIDEO

Y'know, this time last year I hadn't started my Christmas cards and this year I have 29 already. And I'm less stressed! I've gone with fairly simple designs this time round. It saves on the stress levels, plus you can make multiples with much more ease.

I made a similar card like this for a friend last year as I know she loves buttons. She asked if I could make her some more this year, so of course I said yes!

I'm using a stamp from Cardmaking Essentials from last Christmas [sorry no link!], and I love the quirkiness of the stamp. I stamped it in Versamark using my mini MISTI (definitely great for multiple cards) and heat embossed with white Wow! embossing powder. The card blanks are from Hobbycraft as are the buttons, which are adhered with glue dots.

I've made 10 for her and am ready to make more if she wants them and if not, I have enough supplies for me as well!!

I have a video to share of how I made them all and you can find it on my YouTube channel or watch below:

Here is a list of supplies used for these cards. Please note I DO NOT USE AFFILIATE LINKS.

I've also got some news for you. My lovely friend Aileen has set up a new challenge and I'm privileged to be on the design team. It's called the Flower Challenge and will start next week on 4th October. Pop on over to the blog to have a look, and here's a sneak peak of my card ;)

Keeping it simple with Christmas cards is definitely the way forward if you are making a lot, as well as starting much earlier than you think you need to. For good videos on mass production, please see Steph's You Tube channel, and for a great blog post on Christmas card making, have a read of Lisa's great and funny post :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and watch and I hope you feel inspired to make some Christmas cards too.

Wow that is being organised sweetie, clever using buttons too. Think buttons are wonderful embellishments to use. Can't wait to view your video later - I look forward to watching your videos so much. Congrats on the DT too, you are so super talented it was only a matter of time your skills would be snapped up. Well done and high fives!! Hugs xx
